SOF Olympiad Exam Day: A Calm Checklist for Students and Parents
Preparation is done. The last 48 hours are about protecting the score your child has already earned.
The week before
No new topics. Revise the mistake log, redo two past mocks, and fix the sleep schedule to match the exam time.
The night before
Pack the admit card, ID, pencils, eraser and a working ballpoint pen. Light revision for 30 minutes, then stop. Screens off an hour before bed.
During the 60 minutes
A simple pass structure keeps panic away and maximises marks.
- Pass 1: answer everything you know within 30 seconds each
- Pass 2: return to the flagged questions
- Pass 3: Achievers Section with the remaining time
- Final 3 minutes: fill every remaining bubble — there is no negative marking
